A Charming Fatality by Tonya Kappes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
As in all the Magical Cures books, A Charming Fatality was mixed with the perfect amount of magic, mystery, and romance. June Heel found herself smack dab in the middle of another murder mystery, and once again had to use her magical intuition to help solve it.
Tonya Kappes offered a look at June and Oscar's home village, Locust Grove, when June starts working at a factory there that's going to sell her stress-free magical lotion. But she ended up with more than she signed up for when things didn't go as planned on her first day at work. June must rely on her intuition, quick wits, and two familiars, Mr. Prince Charming and Madame Torres, to help solve the murder and the mystery behind it.
But June also has to deal with her lingering doubts about her upcoming wedding. Are she and Oscar really meant to be? What type of wedding are they supposed to have? And when? June ends up receiving answers to her questions from some very surprising sources. And is Mr. Prince Charming holding another big secret June has yet to realize?
I love this series! Each book makes me wish Whispering Falls really existed, and that I could move there. I love watching June solve the mysteries, and finally find out the truth behind the crimes at the end of the stories. I look forward to more books in the series.
